A little over a week ago, notification was received that “Greyt Love” was accepted to be hung at the Amalie Arena. What an experience it has been!
When the call for artists went out, I made the decision to submit “Greyt Love”. My expectations were not very high and the most I was hoping for was some exposure. When notification was received that out of over 500 art submissions, with only 41 pieces being accepted, “Greyt Love” was to be shown, I was amazed. What an honor it has been to be part of such a beautiful event.
This year’s jury consisted of Penny Vinik as well as executives from the Dali Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Pete and the Tampa Museum of Art.
